Okay, so I really have nothing to do at times and my answer to this problem is to make money! (or at least try)

Not to sound like a braggart, but I’m a talented teenager. I’m empathetic, charismatic, musically gifted, and a great debater (+ more, but I’m not a braggart).

I’ll be able to go into anything I want in college, but at the moment… I need a way to earn some cash! Besides that job I have; but I only work 12 hours every 2 weeks at minimum wage which amounts to most likely less than $80 after a few taxes and such.

Ideas I’ve thought of:
I thought of tutoring, but I help my classmates anyway (pro bono? ha!).

I thought of playing my violin or something at these suppers the community club has to get money, but I wouldn’t get paid and the woman in charge is frankly an airhead and forgot twice that she was supposed to call me.

More information:
I’m willing to go into business with a few of my friends if necessary, but I know I’d be doing all the money and legal work (if needed) so it might as well be sole proprietorship.

I need something that will keep me busy, but I will need to have a flexible schedule.

I have about $150 for anything that needs to be bought – “Spend money to make money”

Demographics:
Less than 500 people in town – many small towns along this strip of highway and I’ve got connections in almost every town. Two major cities; both about 30-45 minutes away.

The majority of people in town are middle-aged to elderly.

Question:
What is a good business idea for a bored teen wasting time doing nothing?
Damn spammer!
Good lord. This is a slower moving section; isn’t it?
Ha! I can wait — Patience is a virtue!
Thank you! Those stories were quite inspirational! I should just find one thing I can do well, and go for it!
